Cloth diapers in Time Magazine

Cloth diapers going mainstream? Well, sure, they're good for the environment! As "thinking green" is becoming more and more popular these days, cloth diapers may be swept up along with the trend. A new article - Diapers Go Green - is set to come out in the Jan. 21 issue of Time Magazine. Cloth diapering has hit the big time! (no pun intended...)

We're quite excited about this article as we carry diapers from three of the four companies mentioned in the story -- BumGenius, Kissaluvs, and Happy Heinys. We are also hoping to pick up the fourth company - Fuzzi Bunz - if they ever start responding to our emails...

Cloth diapers have been readily available online for years, and we don't really try to compete with this market. We encourage people to come in to the shop so they can see the diapers in person, and we will walk customers through the complexities of cloth diapering (these aren't your gramma's cloth diapers!). Cloth diapers come in a variety of styles, colors, and sizes, and it can be overwhelming at the beginning. But don't worry, we'll walk you through it! And the benefits are great - on top of being environmentally friendly, they are less expensive than disposable diapers, they don't contain nasty chemicals, and they are soft and come in tons of colors and patterns - so cute!

A new service we offer is our traveling "diaper library" that we will ship to your home for a small fee. If you can't make it down to our shop, we will ship out a collection of cloth diapers that you can touch and see in person. Please contact us for details.
